The Mountain West had announced its updated football schedule on May 30 after the TV selections made by partners CBS and FOX – but it turns out a third television partner has now added more broadcasts. On Monday, the conference announced a new agreement with TNT Sports which includes three more broadcasts for Fresno State.
The May announcement previously brought Fresno State to six national television broadcasts – when the Bulldogs typically have between 10 to 12. Now three more games have been picked up by TNT Sports, which will air the contests both on cable television network truTV and streaming service Max.
The selected games include Fresno State’s Sept. 14 home date vs New Mexico State, the Sept. 21 away game at New Mexico, and the Oct. 26 home game versus San Jose State.
TNT Sports has also locked in kickoff times for the games. Fresno State will host NMSU at 7:30 p.m. PT, then will have a 5:30 p.m. PT kickoff at New Mexico, and the ‘Dogs will get a rare 5 p.m. PT kickoff when they host San Jose State.
Fresno State now has kickoff times for seven of the 12 games on the 2024 schedule. Two games – vs Washington State on Oct. 12 and at Air Force on Nov. 9 – are subject to a 12-day decision window before kickoff by FOX Sports.
Now only three games on Fresno State’s 2024 schedule are yet to find television homes. The Sept. 7 home game versus Sacramento State and Nov. 30 regular season finale at UCLA are yet to be announced. The Bulldogs’ Nov. 2 home game is expected to air on Spectrum Sports, but has not officially been announced yet.
