An Iowa football wide receiver was arrested on Sunday and charged with operating while intoxicated in Iowa City.
Kaleb Brown, 20, was arrested early Sunday morning, according to a criminal complaint.
Brown was found traveling on the roadway with heavy damage to the front end of his vehicle, police say. Brown backed his vehicle on a lawn and began spinning the tires, according to the complaint.
He was found to have bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and smelled of alcohol, according to officers. Brown refused sobriety tests.
He was booked into jail for OWI.
Brown began his college football career at Ohio State, appearing in five games as a freshman in 2022 and recording one catch. He transferred to Iowa after the 2022 season and played in 11 games, finishing with 22 catches, 215 yards and a touchdown.
